So the simple surgery turned into something not so simple. Dodged another bullet, this is what I woke up to. Another week or so with no food or water definitely puts you in a different zone to say the least.

trekked out to the Brooklyn Museum to catch the last day of the Murakami show. it was fun - definitely enjoyed the sculptures more.

OK so I'm officially a dork or nerd or just insane. I just spent 3+ hours on line for a phone. 

Today is my 39th Birthday

ever since 1986 the first thing i do is listen to 'the head on the door' today was no different. after all these years it still puts me in a good mood. 

sometimes i only listen to 'in between days' it makes me happy really it does.

I met Alexi at the Guggenheim to see the Louise Bourgeois exhibit. It was amazing, I was inspired. Later we attended the Naland Blake talk and private run through the show. It was great to see it with out the crowds and meeting Naland Blake made the whole day special for me. !

well strange day to say the least. thank God everything came out ok. then i slept for the entire day practically. 3 years to the day 1/17/05 i thought my life was over, i thought i was going to die. i knew things would definately be different. well i never expected to be where i am now...

tonight was Alexi and Natalies opening at Monkdogs gallery. very crowded very hot. it was nice to see Eleen after something like 15 years. celebrity sightings: Michael Musto showed up at the gallery, then later at dinner at Empire Randy Jones 'cowboy' of the Village People strolled in.

another day gone. tomorrow i'll work. more ideas today. funny how things come into my head, funny the things that come into my head. my work needs to be more edgy not so blah. tomorrow i'll work.
